Hon. Dr. Augustine Kavindu AKA Influxx is a Kenyan Politician, African artiste and the CEO of Sheng Records and the force behind giving the Kenyan Music the Identity Sheng Music with the support of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture in Kenya. His Music profile is heavy weight having done and published Ten Music albums With latest being a top 40 hits compilation and numerous Official video's. He has been the chair of Kenya National union of Musicians(KENUM) and the vice chair of the official musicians federation in Kenya KEGSAF. He has also directly worked with parliament as a stakeholder and consultant to bring to life several legal frameworks to grow the creative industry in Kenya. This laws include the copyright amendment act, the Film policy, the music policy the broadcast regulations that brought the concept of local content quota among others.

He is a lecturer at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and holds a PhD in Business Innovation and Technology Management, Master's (MSc) in Computer Systems and a Bachelor of Business Information Technology. He is currently running for Senator for Kitui County in this general elections. This will not be his first time in the ballot, he has Previously run but lost the Embakasi South Parliamentary seat twice.
His manifesto focuses on diversifying the traditional employment channels, Talent Development, Technology and Improving business environments for woman and youth considering that 80% of Kenyan youth are unemployed. He argued that if Arts, Film, Music, Fashion and Sports industry is keenly developed, 60% of the jobless in Kenya will gain Self, Private or Government employment.
