Kenya to Hire More Workers to Fight Virus Pandemic

Following the increased COVID-19 cases the Health Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said that the country had to hire 6,000 health workers to help fight the coronavirus outbreak.

He further categorized 5,000 to be deployed to counties, and 1,000 to remain at the national hospitals, Kagwe said at a media briefing on Thursday,2nd of April.

 “We hope to complete” the hiring “by Wednesday, 8th April next week,” Kagwe said.

Kenya has confirmed 110 COVID-19 cases and three deaths.
