People under quarantine due to coronavirus undergo a lot of stress, thus affecting their mental health.

Not only is the mental health of the victim affected but also of their family and also of their friends. This is due to fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children.

The symptoms of stress among them may include:

  • Fear and worry about your own health and the health of your loved ones
  • Changes in sleep or eating patterns
  • Difficulty sleeping or concentrating
  • Worsening of chronic health problems
  • Worsening of mental health conditions
  • Increased use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs

To avoid the mental health of these people to be affected, we should avoid or stop stigmatization.
