Bungoma County Governor H.E Hon Wyclife Wafula Wangamati yesterday announced his new County Executive Commitee at his county offices.
Speaking during a press conference held at his offices in Bungoma town yesterday,the Governor confirmed the names of the ten members of the county executive committee.
The list comprised of highly learned individuals, who holds higher learning certificates in various fields,from various recognised universities.
The new members also brings with them a wealth of experience in various fields. They also hail from within the county.
Mr Richard Sabwani Keya, a Bachelors of Education (Arts) degree holder from Kenyatta University will be in charge of Public service management and administration. The 54 year old Keya also has a 29 years teaching experience.
Bramuel Murgor Serebemuom,a PhD student at Kisii University will be in charge of Lands,Urban/Physical planning and Housing. He has served as a chief settlement officer in Elgeyo Marakwet county. The 49 year old Murgor has also served as District Head of department in the same county.
Gender,Youths,Culture and Sports has been given to a 45 year old Everlyne Bunusu Kakai. She holds a Bachelors of Commerce(Banking option). Bunusu is currently the Principal accountant,Nakuru county.
Benson Makheti Wanyonyi has taken Environment,Water and tourism. The 52 year old Makheti holds a Bachelors of Arts in economics from University of Nairobi. He is currently pursuing a PhD in strategic management from JKUAT.
Roads,Infrastructure and Public works is now under Mr Collins Mukhongo. He has served as a senior Networks and Support Engineer at Kenya Revenue Authority. The 44 year old is also a member of the Engineers Board of Kenya(EBK).
Esther Wamalwa has taken Finance and Economic Planning. The 39 year old is a certified public Accountant(CPA-K). She is currently head of Finance at Print Exchange Limited,an international organisation.
George Mabongoh Naulikila is in charge of Trade,Energy and Industrialization. He is the Technical advisor,Canadian corporation Organisation( CCO). The 54 year old Naulikila is also a technical advisor at Netherlands International Aid Agency(SNV).
Mathews Chirasha Wanjala Makanda will head Agriculture,Livestock ,Irrigation,Fisheries and cooperative Development. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business management(Banking option) from Egerton University. He has also been a lecturer for a long time.
Education and Vocational Training was given to Dr Betty Mayeku. She is currently a lecturer at Kibabii University.
Dr Antony Thadeus Wanjala, a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree holder from University of Nairobi will be in charge of Health and Sanitation.
Hon Wyclife Wangamati trusts and has confidence in the new team,which is going to assist him deliver as promised in his campaign manifesto.
