Florence Mutua, was born in 1968 to a Luhya father and a Kamba mother. She is married to Mr. Livingstone Waingah from Butula constituency.  Ms. Florence joined elective politics in 2013 when she was elected on an ODM party ticket with a landslide victory for the Women Representative seat.  She has served as the Vice Chairlady of Women Democracy Network – Kenyan Chapter, the Secretary in Kenya Women Parliamentary Association, and an Ambassador for Women in Parliament. Ms Waingah was re-elected as the Women Representative for Busia on an ODM party ticket. She is ODM party’s current national Deputy Organizing Secretary. She has a great interest in women, youth, children and Persons Living with Disability.
