William Ruto: We Better Elect Kiosk Vendor To Be Our President Than Raila Odinga

Deputy President William Ruto has once again poured cold water on a possible Raila Odinga presidency, arguing that the ODM chief is not fit to be the country's next president. 

Addressing a rally on Friday, January 14, in Roysambu, Nairobi county, Ruto said the former prime minister is least qualified to take the helms of power after President Uhuru Kenyatta's tenure. 

He claimed Raila has no track record of development and indirectly hit out at his boss for "imposing on us an unqualified leader". 

Ruto accused Raila of ruining the ruling party after his historic ceasefire with the president in March 2018. Kenya is not short of leaders, says Ruto The deputy president argued that Kenyans had numerous options, adding that the ODM leader cannot qualify as the last resort.
