Jacaranda Grounds: Ruto to Hold Rally at Same Venue Crooks Dumped Raw Sewage to Stop NASA Meeting in 2017

With about seven months to the much-awaited August general election, top presidential contenders, Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga are traversing the country to popularise their bids. 

For instance, the second in command will today, Sunday, January 16, hold a mega rally at Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi East, Nairobi county.

The meeting, according to Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, will provide a platform, for dialogue about the future of Nairobi and the whole country.

The mega rally is expected to be attended by thousands of Nairobi residents who subscribe to the DP's hustler nation ideologies. 

It is also expected to be graced by Ruto's foot soldiers including Governor Anne Waiguru, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, nominated Senator Millicent Omanga, MPs Aisha Jumwa, Kimani Ichung'wa, Aden Duale among others.

The meeting, which has been described as "mother of all rallies" by the Tanga Tanga allied politicians, comes a day after Raila's Azimio la Umoja convention in Thika.

Seen as a counter-move, the DP will use the Jacaranda rally to water down gains made by the former premier after the Thika rally.
