Ben Githae's Electric Performance at Azimio La Umoja Rally in Thika Sparks Reactions:

Gospel singer Ben Githae of Tano Tena hit song was the star entertainer at the Azimio La Umoja political rally at Thika, Kiambu county on Saturday, January 15. 

However, soon after he was done, many viewers trooped to social media to either express their love or dislike for the man who helped influence a voting pattern in the 2017 General Election.

Many argued that Githae was no longer trusted having sung his out heart in support of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto in the last presidential contest. 

They blamed the musician on some of the economic challenges, especially the ballooning debt which Kenyan taxpayers are grappling with.

"Those accusing Ben Githae on how he duped Kenyans should know he wasn't a candidate.....kila mtu na ujinga ama uerevu wake aliamka akampigia aliyekubaliana Naye kisera," advised Josphat Byrne.
