Snake Disrupts Kalonzo Musyoka's Meeting Forcing People to Scamper for Safety

 Supporters of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka were treated to a rare scenario on Saturday, January 15, after a snake appeared in a crowd, disrupting a meeting that he had organised. 

A video of the scary incident shared online showed a group of men fighting off the snake before one of them took it away.

No one was hurt during the brief incident, as the snake was safely restrained. 

The battle of supremacy pitting the Wiper leader against the region's governor's Alfred Mutua (Machakos), Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) playing out in the public gallery in recent days. Ngilu has been keeping her cards close to her chest as she is not outrightly opposing Kalonzo in the region but she failed to appear at the meeting.
