Maryanne Mudavadi Steals Show at Her Father's Earthquake ANC Convention

Maryanne Mudavadi, the eldest daughter of Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has left many discussing her speech at her father's event held at Bomas of Kenya.

She eloquently expressed herself while introducing her dad, trying to gather political support for the former Sabatia Member of Parliament.

"Good morning dad, the next president of Kenya," she introduced the presidential aspirant amid giggles.

She went ahead to run the audience through her father's political journey which started in 1989 after the death of his father, Moses Mudavadi.

His career highlights include different ministerial positions, with the highest being a vice presidential stint under late president Daniel Arap Moi.

"Under the presidency of the retired president Mwai Kibaki, my dad served as the deputy prime minister of Kenya," Maryanne praised.

She hailed her dad as a champion for change for Kenyans regardless of their age, gender, and ethnic backgrounds.

It is, however, the fact that she seemed to keep forgetting bits of the speech that made her stand out like a sore thumb.

Arguably, the most notable goof of the speech for her was the fact that she said "good morning" when it was already in the afternoon, an error that folks made fodder of.
