Humility or Political Mileage? Photos of Sabina Chege Carrying Water on Black Mamba Bike Elicit Reactions

Sabina Wanjiru wa Chege, the Women's Representative of Murang'a county has received a host of varied reactions from the public after sharing photos of herself pulling a bicycle. 

In the series of photos, the politician could be seen with what seems to be. a woman and her children heading to fetch water from an unknown source. 

As Sabina pulled the bike, the family members looked at her with smiley faces, basins and containers in their hands. 

"Let no one ever come to you without leaving a better expression of God's kindness. Kindness in your face, kindness in your smile, kindness in your eyes, and kindness in your warm welcome," she captioned the photos. 

It can be argued that the politician pulled the move to gain favor with the masses as it shows her humble side that is not behind a tinted SUV surrounded by armed security detail. 

Her photos elicited mixed reactions from the public, with one group congratulating her for being a woman of the people while the other argued that she is doing so because elections are nigh.
