Miguna Miguna: William Ruto is Corrupt But Honest, He's Never Betrayed His Friends

Lawyer and author Miguna Miguna has observed that despite being a "corrupt leader", Deputy President William Ruto is a reliable politician who cannot betray his allies. 

Miguna stated that Ruto has been honest in his dealings however corrupt they are, suggesting that he (Ruto) has edged over the other Kenyan politicians when it comes to matters of sincerity.

Miguna, who is exiled in Canada, has been showing a soft spot towards the deputy president who is currently in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta. 

As he manifests his support for Ruto, albeit indirectly, the fiery attorney sought to distance himself from the political malpractices in which the deputy president has been implicated.

"I don't like William Samoei Ruto because he is corrupt. But he is honest in his corruption. Ruto has not betrayed his friends. Ruto is corrupt but honest and has not betrayed his friends," said Miguna.

At the same time, Miguna lashed out at ODM leader Raila Odinga whom he said is not only corrupt but also dishonest and traitorous.
