Richard Ngatia Takes Voter Registration Drive to Over 3000 University Students in Nairobi

Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Richard Ngatia has called on university students to register in big numbers ahead of the August 9 election.

Ngatia, the Kenya Chambers of Commerce and Industry president, said that university students are an important component in shaping the youth agenda for the August election.

He said this when he hosted over 3000 students drawn from Universities and tertiary institutions within the Nairobi metropolitan area.

" I am calling on you to come out in large numbers and register so that we can make a resounding decision on the ballot," he said.

Ngatia said that university students are critical in running online and digital campaigns, noting that he will partner with student groups to support the voter registration drive.

" I am willing to work closely with you in the remaining days to ensure that we hit the target," Ngatia noted.
