Breaking News: 30, May 2020 - Latest Kenya Covid-19 Cases and Updates

Kenya’s Covid-19 cases on Saturday 30th May 2020 rose to 1888 after 143 more people tested positive after testing 2959 samples in the past 24 hours, the Health CAS Rashid Aman announced.

All the confirmed cases turned out to be Kenyans. Age bracket was ranked from one month to 88 years with males 110 and females 33.

At the same time, 26 more people have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 464.

Dr. Aman sadly announced the male patient succumbed to the virus bringing the total fatalities to 66.

The distributions per county were recorded as: Nairobi-86, Mombasa-25, Kiambu-6, Kwale-3, Busia-3, Migori-3, Kajiado-1, Kisii-1, Garisa-1, Isiolo-1, Kericho-1, Makueni-1, thus 33 counties were listed to have recorded a case of coronavirus.

The subcounty distribution: Narobi: Makadara- 45, Embakasi South-6, Ruaraka-3, Embakasi West-2, Kibra 21, Starehe-1 Westlands-2, Langata-1, Kasarani-5.

Mombasa: Likoni-11 Mvita-9, Jomvu-2, Changamwe-1, Nyali 2,

Uasin Gishu-11 all identified turbo truckdrivers

Kiambu: Kabete-3, one each from Juja, Kiambaa and Ruiru

Busia: Alupe mandatory quarantine -2, Malava point of entry one case.

He further urges Kenyans to protect themselves and others by the tendency of following the coronavirus rules of wearing masks, handwashing, and social distancing.
