Fredrick Ouma Oluga - MP Candidate - Langata Constituency, Nairobi

Dr.Ouma Oluga born (Fredrick Ouma Oluga) is a Kenyan Doctor and surgeon born in Rarieda constituency, Siaya. He served as the Secretary-General and the CEO at the Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists & Dentists’ Union (KMPDU). Oluga joined KMPDU in 2009.

 Nonetheless, he is also the Global Co-Chair of Health Workers For All Coalition. He was also the president of MSAKE (Medical Students’ Association of Kenya) for two terms. Oluga also served as Vice President of External Affairs for the IFMSA(International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations).

Olunga is 37 years old as of 2022. He was born in 1985 in Rarieda constituency, Siaya. Nonetheless, he has not shared with the media the dates of his birth. However, this information will be updated as soon as it is available.

Dr.Ouma Oluga Education Background and CV

Olunga went to Moi University where he graduated in 2010 with a Degree in Medicine and Surgery. Nonetheless, he is also a post-graduate medical student in Internal Medicine from the University of Nairobi.

Oluga has been appointed as the Chief Officer of Health in the newly created Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS).
The appointment was announced in a circular dated 23rd March 2020 from the Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.

Dr. Oluga has been serving as the Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) as Secretary-General.

Dr.Ouma Oluga Career

Dr.Olunga is currently working at the Kenyatta National Hospital as a frontline medical doctor. He also represents KMPDU at the third MSAKE Sub Regional Training.

After his jail, Dr.Ouma signed the first-ever public health sector agreements between KMPDU and the 47 devolved governments and the National Government after a high-level engagement with the President of the Republic of Kenya.
