Nairobi Gubernatorial Aspirant Agnes Kagure Anointed in Special Church Service

Businesswoman Agnes Kagure received the anointing of church leaders during a special church service on Sunday, January 30, at AIPCEA Bahati.

Addressing the congregation, Kagure thanked the clergy for blessing her bid to succeed Anne Kananu at City Hall after seeing her honesty and determination.

"I feel immeasurably blessed and charged after a special church service today that anointed and blessed my candidature for the Nairobi Governor's seat that we are aiming for," declared the Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful.

During the service, Kagure said that she was grateful to the religious leaders who have prayed and encouraged her through her quest to become Nairobi's governor.

"Those who kneel before God can stand before any man or woman. I'm eternally grateful for the prayers, encouragement, and blessings that I've received from various religious leaders who've seen the honesty and determination that drives our cause," said Kagure.

Kagure exuded confidence in clinching the county's top job stating that she is assured through her faith in God.

She maintained that her desire to lead Nairobi would become a testimony of God's great deeds through her faith in God.

"I'm encouraged by God's promise that in His time, He turns our tests and quests into testimonies of victory. May we keep working and hoping because victory is assured," added Kagure
