Raila, Kalonzo Marriage: Wiper Leader Softens Stand, Opens Door for Possible Reunion with Ex-Partner

Raila Odinga will once again work together with Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka if reports on their reunion are anything to go by.

According to NTV, Kalonzo and fellow One Kenya Alliance principals are set to sign a memorandum of intent showing their willingness to work with Azimio La Umoja.

Reports indicate that President Uhuru Kenyatta took over the negotiation between the two leaders, brokering a deal.

Kalonzo and Uhuru are reported to have reached a deal on Tuesday, February 1, following talks at the State House.

It is after the State House meeting that OKA principals gave the green light to work with Raila.

Uhuru's hands-on approach to their negotiations is said to have been occasioned by his disappointment in Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula's decision to join Deputy President William Ruto.

During the signing of OKA's deed of assignment that transferred the Kalonzo-led command centre to the OKA centre, the principals declared their intent to work with like-minded leaders.

"We are open to honest engagements with other political formations which share our ideology," said Gideon Moi during their briefing.

Kalonzo on the other hand was cagey in revealing details saying they had time to form political coalitions before the set deadline.
