Moses Kuria Says He May Fail to Back William Ruto or Raila Odinga in August Polls

Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria has said he's still weighing his options on who to back in the 2022 presidential elections set for August 9. 

The Chama cha Kazi leader insisted he wasn't mandated to support anyone in the highly anticipated polls. 

The second-term MP said he needed to analyse the two biggest coalitions, Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio la Umoja, first, as they were formed when he was still hospitalised in Dubai after suffering burns on his legs. 

“Personally, Kenya Kwanza was formed while I was in a hospital bed and so was Azimio, I will be crazy to say that I support things that were formed while I was ill. I just get anecdotes of what they stand for, I don’t understand them and I need time,” the vocal lawmaker told Citizen TV.
