Azimio in Dubai: Kenyans Attending Expo in UAE Shout in Support of Raila, Uhuru Faction

Kenyans who were attending the Expo 2020 Dubai have broken into dance and songs in praise of President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga's Azimio la Umoja. 

A viral video circulated online on Wednesday, February 16, showed the Kenyans chanting and singing Azimio as the president passed by, much to the chagrin of other invited guests. 

During the event, the head of state toured the Kenya pavilion located along the Opportunity District Avenue after he launched the Kenya National Day of honour on Wednesday, February 16.

Kenya's culture at expo

Uhuru also kicked off several activities to showcase Kenya’s rich cultural and economic diversity to mark the country’s national day before touring the United Arab Emirates stand.

The event held at the Al Wasl Plaza saw the attendance of 192 countries that are participating in the six-month-long world exposition. 

During the day-long event, Uhuruwas joined by Kenyan dancers as they rode on the Luhya's popular Mwana wa Mberi tune.
