Davideo Rence: SDA Music Producer Retires from Trade to Vie for Embakasi MCA Seat on UDA Ticket

Globally, politics is a dirty game, meaning it is a morally unclean competition on issues associated with running the government. 

It is beyond no doubt that many who have dared to swim in the murky waters of politics have sunk, but others have stayed afloat. 

But with the clock ticking towards August 9, 2022, General Election, most Kenyans, despite their religious, professional or ethnic background, are attracted to politics. 

One of them is David Ogeto, popularly known as Davideo Rence. 

Ogeto is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Davideo Group and leader of Kenya's Third Revolutionary Movement.

In Ogeto's case, he was inspired to try a hand in active politics by his late grandfather, a community administrator.

“I have always had a passion for politics since leadership is something that runs in our family. My late grandfather was a community administrator. He was succeeded by my uncle. My mum has always been a leader in her own right, and these are the people who inspire me a lot.". 

The 25-year-old eyeing the Embakasi ward seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket told TUKO.co.ke that this is the final phase towards a more prosperous country.

“My entry into active politics is the first step towards achieving the economic revolution that we all desire for as a country.” 

He is currently pursuing a Bachelors's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration at the International Leadership University.
