Jubilee Chides Kimani Wamatangi for Writing Letter Asking to Remain Member Despite Move to UDA:

The Jubilee Party has chided Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi after claiming that he wrote an eight-page letter asking to remain a member of Jubilee despite defecting from the party.

Wamatangi defected from the ruling party a fortnight ago and joined Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

However, according to Jubilee secretary-general Jeremiah Kioni, Wamatangi recently wrote a letter to Jubilee asking to still remain a member of the outfit despite his change of allegiance.

"If you have left, just leave completely. Don't keep coming back. Wamatangi wrote us a letter of eight pages yet he left. Who has the time to read such a letter? He insists he is still a member of the party but he left. It is so embarrassing," he said.
