Ledama Ole Kina Says He's Worried About Azimio's Strategy to Defeat UDA

Narok senator Ledama ole Kina has expressed his concerns about the over 15 parties supporting Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) lawmaker who's seeking re-election for a second term, said he was anxious about how the candidates in the coalition will compete with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) aspirants after the upcoming nominations.

Ole Kina argued that if candidates in respective parties under Azimio won't join hands, then they might be defeated by those flying the UDA flag.

"I’m not worried about the 25 political parties. What I’m worried about is the strategy to be able to defeat UDA to ensure that we form the next government. That to me is what is very important.

"I am not worried about nominations. Let every political party carry out the exercise, but ultimately after each party carries out the nominations in the Azimio movement, I would hope that our coalition will now sit down together...nothing stops ODM or Jubilee from withdrawing a candidate," he told NTV.
