Jackson Mandago Says He Was Also Victim His Car Was Stoned

Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has distanced himself from claims made by a section of political leaders allied to ODM leader Raila Odinga that he allegedly planned the attack on the ODM party boss. 

Mandago, on Saturday, April 2, condemned the incident, further calling on the police to ensure the culprits are brought to book. 

He specifically called out Suna East MP Junet Mohamed and his Embakasi East counterpart Babu Owino for accusing him of the incident. 

The county boss equated organising goons to disrupt political rallies of opponents to cheap politics that he can't involve himself.

“I want to address one Junet Mohamed and Babu Owino that probably because they have been in a league of politics of violence, they think that every politician in this country subscribes to that kind of nonsense,” he said. 

An agitated Mandago said would he had not planned the incident then he could not give Raila his car to use.
