Raila Odinga Returns to Kenya, Addresses Supporters on Key Issues at Kamkunji Rally

Azimio leader Raila Odinga is expected to return to the country this afternoon from Poland and speak to his supporters at a rally held at Kamkunji grounds in Nairobi.

Some of the issues that are anticipated to be discussed during Tuesday's rally include the next plan of action for Azimio la Umoja following the unsuccessful bipartisan negotiations on various matters, such as the high cost of living. Another topic that is expected to be addressed is the passage of the controversial Finance Bill, 2023, which was recently signed into law by President William Ruto.

The security authorities in Nairobi have assured residents that their safety will be ensured during the opposition leader's rally. The police will be present to manage the traffic flow from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) as Raila makes his way to Kamukunji grounds. Odinga's supporters are eager to hear his upcoming steps, especially considering the previous unsuccessful attempts to influence the Kenya Kwanza government on different issues.

Raila had previously mentioned the possibility of resorting to street protests to pressure the Kenya Kwanza administration into addressing the concerns raised by his coalition.
