Azimio Launches Digital Platform to Collect 15M Signatures, Aims to Oust Ruto

Today, the Azimio One Kenya coalition launched Tumechoka, a citizens' initiative to gather 15 million signatures for the removal of President Ruto.

Led by Raila Odinga, the initiative aims to provide accessibility for all Kenyans through a digital platform. Currently, they have already collected 1.2 million signatures.

The coalition emphasizes that nationwide anti-government protests will continue, expressing their commitment to justice and well-being.

Raila condemned the use of live ammunition to disrupt their peaceful activities and called on the government to stop infringing on citizens' constitutional rights. Martha Karua, co-principal of the Azimio One Kenya coalition, urged the government to cease its attacks on citizens.

Leaders from Kenya Kwanza, including Cleophas Malala, the UDA Secretary General, criticized Raila, accusing him of pursuing a self-centered agenda.
