100 Luhya clergy endorse Hon. Wetangula Timothy Wanyonyi for the Nairobi gubernatorial bid.

Barely two months after Hon. Wetangula Timothy Wanyonyi otherwise known as Tim Wanyonyi launched his 2022 Nairobi gubernatorial bid, a number of other contenders for the same seat have come forth directly and indirectly to spread what is now confirmed to be rumors that the Westlands Member of Parliament opted to back down and quit the race.

The Westlands legislator has now dispelled the doubts among Nairobi county residents and conseqently confirmed that he is still in the race and strongly going for the head of capital city seat to the very end. It is noteworthy that he has served as the MP for Westlands constituency for two terms since 2013 under the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket.

The reveered Member of Parliament was on Monday, January 5, 2022 in a meeting bringing together about 100 Luhya  clergy, endorsed  for the Nairobi county gubernatorial seat. In what seemed like heavenly presentation of the legislator, the clergy in one accord chorused that when God is in control, nothing is impossible!

He as well took the chance to encourage his fellow contenders to meet him at the finishing line giving an analogy of an athletic race that ends at the finishing line.
