Senator Kajwang Elated after CS Kariuki Launches KSh 1.2B Water Project: "Handshake Made it Possible”

Homa Bay senator Moses Kajwang' has expressed gratitude after Water Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki launched a KSh 1.2 billion water project in the area. 

The senator observed it was impossible to find a government minister coming to Luo Nyanza to launch development projects many years ago. 

"We are here because of the excellent partnership between Raila and Uhuru. Just today, Water Cabinet Secretary Cecily Kariuki visited Homa Bay town where she launched a KSh 1.2 billion project that will provide clean water to the residents of Homa Bay county," Kajwang' said. 

Homa Bay county MP Gladys Wanga said the water supply and treatment plant at Koginga Beach would end the water shortage problem in the area. 

TUKO.co.ke understands that the water project also funded by the Belgium government will increase water production within Homa Bay town from 2 million to 8 million litres of water per day.
