Rebeccah Mumbi Munene was born and raised in Nyahururu, Laikipia county. She schooled in Oliinganea primary school and later joined Mwenje mixed high school where she completed in 1997. She has a diploma in ICT and a higher diploma in guidance and counseling from Vision International University. Rebeccah completed her college and later relocated to Nachu ward, Kikuyu constituency in Kiambu county where she settled and married. She hopes to solve the rampant shortage of water so as to promote horticulture farming. Her motivation for vying as the MCA of Nachu ward is to help lower poverty levels. Her vision is to see a ward that will be the main supplier of horticultural products.
