Poll Shows Tunai Will Floor Ole Kina in Senate Race if Elections Were Held Today

A new poll released by big data analytics company Mizani Africa has shown Narok senator Ledama ole Kina will lose his seat if elections were held today. 

The survey indicated Narok governor Samuel ole Tunai who has declared his interest to unseat the ODM lawmaker would win by garnering 44.9% of the votes.

The poll which was taken between March 15 to March 25 ranked Ole Kina second with 35.4% while Kilgoris MP Gideon Konchellah came a distant third with 8.7%. 

Other aspirants in the race are Julius Kuyioni (5.5%) and Kiranto Nabaala (3.9%).

The poll stated that 1% of the respondents were undecided while 0.6% would vote for other candidates.

Mizani Africa said it interviewed 1,063 respondents across the six constituencies in Narok county using the random sampling method. 

The poll was released days after Ole Kina expressed his concerns about the over 15 parties supporting Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga.
