Governor James Orengo Promises on Youth Empowerment, Sports and Social Inclusion
My government will deliver jobs both in formal and informal sectors. To achieve this, we will;
• Enhance employment and enterprise development opportunities for the youth by mainstreaming youth in all 9 sectors
• Deliver a prosperous economy based on talent nurturing, skills development and innovative enterprises.
• Establish co creative spaces for cultural and creative industries and train coaches for different disciplines to improve the quality of sports skills.
• Establish a creative centre , organize Mutula Junior) sports tournament, and establish a Makueni county Sports Lottery Fund to raise funds for sports development.
• Establish an integrated e youth ICT platform to enhance information access and opportunities for the youth, women and PWDs.
