"I made a solemn pledge during the campaign period that we would feed the ECD school going children of Mombasa to improve enrollment as well as enhance performance in their studies.
 
Together with Likoni MP Hon. Mishi Mboko, the Deputy Speaker Hon. Fadhili Makarani and a host of MCAs, it was my great pleasure and honor to preside over the signing of an agreement with Food for Education that will roll out free lunch for our ECD children in all 97 public schools from the new year.
 
Mombasa, I have kept my promise. And we have done so within our first 100 days. This could not have been possible without the support of the distinguished Members of the County Assembly of Mombasa as well as the dedicated team within the Executive."
