Governor Muthomi Njuki pledges on Agriculture, Livestock and fisheries
Commercial and subsistence fish farming improves livelihoods of smallholder farmers practicing aquaculture globally.
The Department of Fisheries hosted representatives from the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD), State Department of Fisheries, Blue Economy and Aquaculture Business Development programme (ABDP) team for a consultative Midterm Review.
Interactions between county stakeholders and fish farmers were aimed at identifying solutions to challenges experienced since programme implementation.
