Governor Lomorukai pledges Support for Turkana Borderland Communities

Lomorukai has promised to support residents of Turkana living along the borderlands to develop the region and improve service delivery.

Speaking in Nadapal near the border with South Sudan, the Governor stated that he understands the challenges faced by pastoralists in the area, including insecurity, and has pledged to work with elected leaders to address these issues and improve services such as water and healthcare.

“In the time I will be Governor, I promise to support you. I understand the challenges you face along the border and have listened to your challenges. We will work with all the elected leaders to address challenges faced by pastoralists including insecurity and improve service delivery on water, health among others,” he said.
