  • Vigorously promote Agroforestry in order to ensure every homestead has indigenous trees, bamboo and non-indigenous fruit trees on at least 10% of its land.

    Agricultural Value Chain through Cooperatives
  • Promote growing of orphan crops - sweet potato, cassava, simsim, sorghum, millet
  • Employ SMART Agriculture practices to increase production
  • Enhance soil testing to improve land productivity, and long-term soil conservation programmes
  • Substantively increase investment in agricultural extension services
