Millicent Omanga's Autocorrect Blunder Leaves Kenyans Puzzled

The unforgiving Kenyans on Twitter descended on the vocal nominated Senator Millicent Omanga after a seemingly autocorrect mistake in her tweet.

The Tanga Tanga allied lawmaker had taken to the bird app to update about Deputy President William Ruto's campaign rally at Moi Gardens in Kericho county.

Omanga shared images of the large crowd, extending outside the frame, the second in command had attracted exuding confidence that the DP is sailing through in his presidential bid.

However, it was while captioning the photos that the Nairobi woman representative aspirant misspelt the word Kericho and instead wrote Jericho.

Despite correcting her mistake in a reply to the tweet, Omanga's followers still made fun out of it. Here are some comments sampled

Wild Berry questioned: "Haiya! Kwani tuko Israel? Jericho county (Are we in Israel)? Substone Osoro said: "Kwani niko nchi ingine (Am I in another country)?

Airo Nick said: "Jericho near Capernaum on their way to Damascus." George Nguru questioned: "Is there a county called Jericho?" Willy Nyongesa said: "County 048 - Jericho county. Pure uwongo mpaka mnatudanganya kuna County ingine inaitwa Jericho County hii nayo ni gani. Nani governor, nani senator, nani women rep."
