Governor Lee marks World Fisheries Day at Kamere Beach


    Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui joined Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries Prof Micheni Ntiba in marking World Fisheries Day at Kamere Beach in Lake Naivasha.
    While addressing the residents, Governor Lee noted that his government prioritized fish farming and had set aside sh 22 million to boost fish farming in our County.
    The County Government will provide capacity building to the Beach Management Unit to enable them protect the Lake.
    Hon Lee Kinyanjui added that his administration will construct a modern market along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway, where fish traders could sell their fish to the road users.
