Lee Kinyanjui signs an MOU between Nakuru, Narok and International Labour Organization

With an aim to fill the skills gap that has been a hindrance to employment, Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui signed a joint MOU between Nakuru County, Narok County and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
The MOU is aimed at equipping the community with relevant skills that will enable them to be employed in future.
The success of this project will reduce cases of community unrest in areas where a new development is being set up as has been witnessed in the past.
Governor Lee noted that the right manpower is an important factor in realizing the Big 4 agenda hence; he promised that his government will empower the TVETs that have been identified as beneficiaries of this project as they continue to change the attitude of the youth towards TVETs.
He also challenged the National Government to work with the County Governments in creating an enabling environment for Small and Medium Enterprise.
