Mama Lucy Hospital in Kayole is set to benefit from the construction of a a 700-bed capacity ward courtesy of Nairobi City County.
The new ward is set to have a modern intensive care and high- dependency units as well as additional general wards in order to decongest the hospital.
Plans fort the construction of the ward had been stalled for two years due to the availability of funds. Fortunately now the project is set to be finished within the next three months.
