UDA Constitutes Elections Board to Oversee First Party Nominations

The United Democratic Alliance party has constituted its National Elections Board (NEB) to oversee its nominations. 

With the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) having outlined its roadmap to the August 9 polls, parties are racing against time to beat the set deadlines.

On Tuesday, January 25, Deputy President William Ruto chaired a joint meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and National Elections Board (NEB) at Karen. 

During the said gathering, the party unveiled its National Elections Board (NEB) that includes Eng. Anthony Mwaura, Salome Beacco, Aurelia Rono, Ummi Bashir, Matiko Chacha, Raphael Chimera and Halake Dida.
