Regina Cheposait was born and raised in Katukumwok village, Kishaunet location of West Pokot county in a family of six. She attended both Kapeldemet and Chepareria primary schools before dropping out in class six. The mother of seven is married in the same village where she was born that is Katumuok village, Kashaunet location, Mnagei ward in Kapenguria constituency. Her motivation to vie is borrowed from the fact that the girl child from her village is discriminated upon where they are forced to undergo the banned FGM, early marriages and are not offered an opportunity to access education just like she was hence she purposes to help the girl child from her community. Her vision is to bring socio economic development to the people of Mnage ward.
