Dorothy Mashipei

Hon. Dorothy Mashipei is a dynamic Kenyan public administrator and community mobiliser currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ushanga Kenya Initiative, a state-backed program that empowers pastoralist women by commercialising traditional beadwork. Born and raised in Kajiado South, she broke early gender barriers as the only girl in her primary school graduating class before earning a Master's degree in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi. Deeply rooted in the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), she is currently leveraging her grassroots support across all five sub-counties to campaign for the Kajiado County Women Representative seat in the 2027 general elections.
