Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai

Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai is an experienced Kenyan politician and academic who has served as the Member of Parliament for Kitui South Constituency since 2013. Born in 1976, she holds a Bachelor and Master of Education from Kenyatta University and a Ph.D. in Global Health from the University of Aarhus in Denmark. Before entering politics, she worked as a university lecturer and high school teacher. In parliament, she has established her presence as a seasoned leader, having previously chaired high-profile committees like the Departmental Committee on Health and the Departmental Committee on Lands. Beyond her legislative duties, she is a staunch Christian and a well-known gospel singer.
