Duncan Kangwana Miriti

Duncan Kangwana Miriti is a Kenyan politician serving as the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Maua Ward in Igembe South Constituency, Meru County. He first gained prominence after winning the 2014 Maua Ward by-election on the United Democratic Forum Party (UDFP) ticket and has continued to represent the ward in subsequent county assembly terms. During his tenure, he has served on committees of the Meru County Assembly that oversee planning and development matters, focusing on legislation, oversight, and local development initiatives for residents of Maua Ward. More recent public records have associated him with the Devolution Empowerment Party (DEP), and in 2026 he was reported to have joined the National Economic Development Party (NEDP) ahead of the next general election.
