Faith Wairimu Gitau

Hon. Faith Wairimu Gitau is a prominent Kenyan politician currently serving her second term as the Nyandarua County Woman Representative under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. Before venturing into politics, she built a solid professional background over nearly two decades working as an administrator and community services assistant for international organizations, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and UNESCO. Known for her strong grassroots mobilization and advocacy for affirmative action, her leadership primarily focuses on empowering youth, women, and persons with disabilities. Leveraging her extensive community networks and legislative experience,including serving as a commissioner on the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC), she has officially launched her bid to contest the Nyandarua County Gubernatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.
