About Fatuma Gedi Ali
Hon. Fatuma Gedi Ali is a former Wajir County Woman Representative who served in the 12th Parliament after being elected in 2017. She lost her re-election bid in the 2022 General Election to Fatuma Abdi Jehow. She has since been appointed as a Commissioner at the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA).
She has over 20 years of experience in public administration, resource allocation, public finance, strategic management, and gender advocacy. Before joining elective politics, she worked in community development and humanitarian organizations, including Save the Children International and the Somali Aid Foundation.
