George Aladwa Omwera

George Aladwa Omwera is a prominent Kenyan politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Makadara Constituency in Nairobi County. He is also the long-serving Nairobi County Chairman for the [Orange Democratic Movement (ODM)](0.6.1, 0.6.13). Known for his deep roots in Nairobi's Eastlands area, Aladwa previously served as the final Mayor of the Nairobi City Council before the transition to the devolved county government system. He is currently eyeing the Nairobi Gubernatorial seat for the upcoming 2027 General Elections.
