Gideon Ochanda Ogolla

Gideon Ochanda Ogolla is a Kenyan politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bondo Constituency in Siaya County. He was first elected in 2013 on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket and has successfully retained his seat in the 2017 and 2022 General Elections. He is regarded as one of the county's experienced legislators.Before entering elective politics, Ochanda had an extensive career in governance, public policy, and development. He worked with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, where he served as a Programme Staff member and later as Deputy Resident Representative, specializing in local governance, public finance, and policy development. He also worked as a consultant and moderator on governance and public resource management issues.
