About Grace Kiptui
Hon. Grace Kobilo Kiptui is a Kenyan lawyer and politician who served as the first Woman Representative for Baringo County from 2013 to 2017. Elected on the United Republican Party (URP) ticket, she previously worked as a legal officer in the Attorney General's Chambers before entering private legal practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law. During her time in Parliament, she championed girls' education, women's empowerment, anti-female genital mutilation (FGM) campaigns, and community health initiatives in Baringo County. She is also widely known by the nickname "Mama County."
