Hon. John Paul Mwirigi

John Paul Mwirigi is a Kenyan politician and the Member of Parliament for Igembe South Constituency in Meru County. Born on 7 January 1994, John Paul Mwirigi became one of Kenya’s youngest Members of Parliament after winning the Igembe South parliamentary seat in 2017 at the age of 23. He was initially elected as an independent candidate and later retained his seat in 2022 under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree from Mount Kenya University and has been involved in public service, with a focus on areas such as agriculture, education, infrastructure development, and improving the livelihoods of his constituents. Through his role in Parliament, John Paul Mwirigi continues to represent the interests of the people of Igembe South and participate in national legislative affairs.
