Irene Ndanu Mutinda

Captain Irene Ndanu is a commercial pilot and community leader who is contesting the Machakos County Woman Representative seat in Kenya's 2027 elections. Leveraging her aviation background, she runs the Captain Irene Ndanu Foundation, focusing on youth and women empowerment through major grassroots initiatives. These include a Ksh 20 million county-wide soccer tournament in partnership with the FKF and the "Glam on Wheels" program, which provides technical skills and economic opportunities to local youth. Currently running a non-partisan campaign, she has positioned herself as a major political aspirant by building strong community goodwill ahead of alignment with a political party.
